Happy September! I’m so glad to see cooler temperatures around the corner (we hope)!
I hope everyone’s had a great summer, and now we have all schools back in session. Time to start thinking about the wonderful, cooler days ahead, and then into a beautiful fall….
For this month, check out the Club’s social calendar for some really great stuff to look forward to: Girls Night Out returns, the annual Labor Day Bash, and our “Drive-In” Movie (on the driving range), just to name a few!
There is always a great selection of events to choose from, and the focus of my article this month is about adding one more event and possible benefit to your membership here:
This month, we are kicking off an “internal” networking group. It will be a monthly, AM breakfast meeting, giving all who register the opportunity to meet and network with other professional members who are business owners, ceo’s, entrepreneurs, retired professionals, mentors, etc. I believe that with the powerhouses that make up our roster, that this could be a terrific platform for you to make new business, and personal, relationships. This event is being facilitated by members of the Club, and myself, and will include a monthly speaker (on most months), and may be followed by a round of golf if the group wishes to organize it on a quarterly basis.

Mr. Wilson is retired as Vice President, CRM with Pitney Bowes. Janice Hutchings Wilson is Director of Social Responsibility for WellPoint, Inc. Please welcome Mr. & Mrs. Douglas Dell as Social Members! Mr. & Mrs. Dell have just recently moved into St Ives from Ohio. Mr. Dell is V.P. of Global Learning for NCR, which just relocated headquarters to Duluth. The Dell’s are looking forward to enjoying St Ives with their 3 children: Andrew 13, Emily, 16, and Christopher, who is 12. We are thrilled to have them here, and look forward to being of service.
