Labor Day weekend already, amazing how quickly the summer has past. Wow things sure are moving fast. We are on the eve of Labor Day weekend as I write this and I hope you all have some great plans to visit the Club. It will be a bustling place with lots of fun activities going on. If you are reading this after…I hope you had FUN!!
Annual Meeting - This is also the election time of year. We have two Board positions that will need to be filled. The Annual Meeting is set for Sunday, October 10th at 6:30pm. Please mark your calendar to attend for the election results, Committee reports on the state of the Club, and the recognition of the Fourth Annual “Caught In the Act” Employee of the year.
Golf Course - We had another summer of tremendous use of our Golf Course, even in the midst of a heat wave. The course continues to be a popular asset for many of our Members and Guests to enjoy. We appreciate all your support during the difficult golf conditions and look for your continued use of the club in the months to come as the course continues to improve.
Budget Changes around the club – Over the past two years there have been many changes made that have not been visible to membership. These changes allowed us to continue to offer a consistent product as well as reducing the financial strain on the Club. As you viewed in Mr. Seavers video, some of the recent changes will be noticable to the membership but will continue to help us navigate through this economy. There is a complete list below of the recent adjustments to our way of doing business.
Thanks to all of you for continuing to make St Ives a premier facility. We have phenomenal Members, great Staff, and even in difficult economic times we appreciate your support of the Club. Thanks to all of you for making St Ives such a great place to HAVE FUN!!
