Our 2010 Spring ALTA Season has finally arrived. All ALTA clinics are in progress in the hope of much camaraderie and fun while progressing towards a worthwhile season.
Many fun events have been planned for you this month. Starting March 6th with the Men’s Spring ALTA Kick-Off Tournament followed by the Pro Exhibition and Junior Davis Cup on March 12th. The Country Club Mixed Doubles Challenge will be held on March 19th.
During the Spring Season of ALTA, please keep in mind the four major components of tennis: technique, strategy, composure, and fitness. Our ALTA clinics are designed with strategies on how to play the doubles game. If you are not confident in a particular stroke, please see one of our Tennis Professionals to assist you in executing that perfect shot!

Winter Junior USTA Team Results
This past winter the St Ives Junior USTA Teams battled through the wind, cold, rain, ice, and numerous days of rescheduling. Once the sun finally came out and all the games added up, two St Ives Junior Teams battled their way to the Play-Offs. Good luck to the 12 & Under Team, captained by Terri Donis; and the 18 & Under Team, captained by Shelley Martin.
