Welcome Summer! We are gearing up now for our annual July 4th Gala Celebration and are looking forward to putting on a wonderful event for you! If you’ve never come to this event before, you are in for a real treat. Food, fun, open bars, and fireworks under the stars! Bring a blanket or share a table with friends….make your reservations now!
We had a great New Member Golf Outing in June, and thank you to those of you who were in town and able to attend. I know the Members enjoyed the chance to meet each other, and become more familiar with the course as they played with Billy Jack and Members of the Board. We intend to do another of these events near the end of Summer.
Golf Course: I just want to make a point about “your” golf course – Over the past couple months, I have been receiving the most wonderful reviews of our beautiful links from Member prospects or guests. You should know that we are truly gaining “good” notoriety for the pristine condition of the St Ives Golf Course. As a result of the renovation last year, and the continued dedication of our golf superintendent and his staff, you can be proud to know that we are being considered, and I quote: “One of the best golf courses in GA right now.”
As a matter of fact, I’ve heard it so much, that it actually was the inspiration for my latest Membership Marketing piece. This is a very important time of year for you to refer your friends and business associates to the Club. Our fees are going up slowly as the economy repairs, but the Membership programs are still great, and still very viable.
Thank you so much for your patronage and support of this beautiful facility! Look forward to seeing you at the Club!

The Eskenazi’s own the busy Carnett’s Car Wash on Peachtree Industrial, and know several St Ives Members for many years. They live in Johns Creek, just around the corner from the Club, and expect to be at the Club enjoying golf and the social life often! Sam and Tina have one little boy, Nate, who is 5, and there are 3 older children as well: Jordan who is 19, Brian who will soon be 24, and Ben, the oldest, who is 28. Bryan & Dara Hanlon
Please welcome Mr. & Mrs. Bryan Hanlon as Junior Executive Full Privilege Members! The Hanlon’s were referred to us by Mr. Mike Fahey (thank you!), and are so excited about being part of the Club! Mr. Hanlon is a big golfer, and is looking forward to enjoying the beautiful course. He works in Duluth where he is Controller & Chief Accounting Officer for Asbury Automotive. The Hanlon’s live in Duluth with their 2 children: Miss Marissa who is 3, and young Zachary who is just about to celebrate his 1st birthday! Michael & Kerri Hansen
Please welcome Mr. & Mrs. Michael Hansen as Full Privilege Members! It is a pleasure to have you here! Mr. Hansen is an avid golfer, and is looking forward to getting to enjoy his game on our challenging course – you will see him often! The Hansen’s live Duluth with their 2 teenage daughters – Kristen (18), and Rabekah (16). Mr. Hansen is in the high end furniture industry and is President of his firm, MH Sales. Mrs. Hansen is Sales Manager for another furniture company, Arizona Leather. Mr. Hansen knows Reverend Pope and a few other Members at St. Ives, and we are so glad to have this family at St Ives. Frank & Sheryl Hills
Please welcome Mr. & Mrs. Frank Hills as Full Privilege Members! I have so enjoyed meeting this lovely couple! They are both very good golfers, and are truly enjoying our excellent course, as well as our dining and social activites! Mr. Hills is President of Frank H. Hills & Associates, LLC, which is Manufacturing Rep. Firm (he is also a retired U.S. Army Colonel!). Mrs. Hills is a Flight Attendant for American Airlines. Dean & Sharon Lopez
Please welcome Mr. & Mrs. Dean Lopez as Pool/Clubhouse Members! The Lopez’s are residents of Medlock Bridge and have been interested in joining for their girls to participate in our Swim & Dive team (go Stingrays!). Mr. Lopez is with AutoNation, and Mrs. Lopez is President of AzTek Consulting (an IT consulting firm). Their two daughters are Allison (11), and Jaclyn (9). The family is enjoying the Pool and Clubhouse amenities, and we’re so glad to have them here! Welcome, and please make this family feel at home when you see them. Thank you!
Ed & Stephanie Meskill
Please welcome Mr. & Mrs. James (Ed) Meskill as Full Privilege Members! It has truly been a pleasure getting to know this great couple, and they are really enjoying the Club. Both of them are golfers, and you will see Mr. Meskill quite often! They live in Alpharetta with their 3 children – Brett who is almost 10, Mattison who just turned 8, and Kaela who will be 7 this winter. Mr. Meskill is Co-Founder of Virtual Marketing Partners (an Internet Marketing company), and Mrs. Meskill is Assistant Director of Witzlib Fitness Studio in Buckhead. Mansour & Eileen Raad
Please welcome Mr.& Mrs. Mansour Raad as Full Privilege Members! The Mansour’s have just relocated from Massachusetts and have purchased a home in St Ives. They are very excited to be part of the Country Club as they were former Members of Winchester Boar Club, in Winchester, MA. They have four children that will be enjoying the pool and all the Club has to offer for the family: Caitlin (11), Conor (10), Caroline (who is almost 9), and Coln (7). Douglas A. Russ
Please join me in welcoming Mr. Douglas “Doug” Russ as a Full Privilege Member. Mr. Russ is a Principal with Firestorm Consultants/Firestorm Solutions, LLC (a business consulting firm), and is also President of the Johns Creek Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Russ is going to be an active Member of the Club and will be entertaining on the golf course frequently. Mr. Walsh is Director of Strategic Initiatives for Greenway Medical Technologies (a medical software firm). They live in St Ives with their two sweet boys, William (4), and Jack (3), who both think that the pool is the place to be!
