It is hard for me to believe that it is already time for the 4th of July celebration at the Club. The summer months are indeed here and we are rockin’ and rollin’ at the Pool, learning great grilling tips with Chef Tom on the patio, enjoying the renovated Turnberry Grill, playing a fantastic golf course, and now, my favorite event of the year, the Club’s 4th of July festivities culminating in an exciting display of fireworks!
Please be aware that with all of the activities going on July 4th, and with all the preperation needed for the evening dinner and fireworks, there will not be Brunch on Sunday, July 4th. Brunch will resume on July 11th.
There are a couple of items I need to bring to your attention for when you or your Guests arrive here on Sunday, as well as a friendly reminder to encourage you to carpool, as parking will be at a premium. All individuals will be stopped at the Main Gate on St Ives Country Club Drive. A Master List will be checked to be certain that the folks we are bringing onto the property are actually those that belong: Club Members and Authorized Guests.
In order for your Guests to be granted entry they will need to be pre-registered on our list.
You can add people to this by calling the Clubhouse Front Desk @ 770-623-1239 x 0. We realize that you may have some last minute additions… we are just trying to assure things run as smoothly as possible for you the day of the 4th.
Again, this year we are going to provide your Guests with tickets that they can purchase in order to buy beverages, food, and snacks. There will also be the opportunity for you to request that they sign for their items, with your authorization. In that case, they will be given a card that is signed by you so that they can make purchases without paying cash.
For those Members that are traveling away from home for this Independence Day Holiday, we all wish you a safe and happy 4th, and look forward to seeing you when you return.
